Erasmus+ “Artistic and Digital Senior” Project Course Successfully Completed in Antalya

ANTALYA – ISSF (Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future) successfully completed the training course implemented within the scope of the Erasmus+ “Artistic and Digital Senior” project. Hosted at the ISSF Center in Antalya, the course brought together an international group of participants, including 15 participants from Poland, 2 participants from Romania, along with participants from Türkiye.

Throughout the programme, participants took part in hands-on workshops integrating art, creativity, and digital learning, exploring innovative methods to support active ageing and digital inclusion. The course provided an interactive learning environment where participants strengthened their creative expression while developing digital competences relevant to lifelong learning.

Technical Visit to the Public Education Center

As part of the course activities, a technical visit was organised to the Public Education Centers, two of Antalya’s well-established adult education institutions. During the visit, participants observed traditional handicrafts and adult vocational training courses, gaining direct insight into Türkiye’s non-formal education and lifelong learning model.

Key highlights of the visit included:

  • Lifelong Learning: Understanding community-based adult education practices and lifelong learning structures.
  • Cultural Heritage: Observing the preservation and transmission of traditional hand-crafted arts.
  • Creative Skill Development: Exploring the role of art in personal development and well-being within adult education.

Project Outcomes

With the completion of the course, participants gained valuable insights into adult education practices, cultural heritage preservation, and the integration of artistic and digital approaches in lifelong learning. ISSF representatives emphasised that international projects such as Artistic and Digital Senior strengthen intercultural dialogue and intergenerational learning by bringing together diverse participants around shared educational goals.

ISSF continues to support Erasmus+ initiatives that promote creativity, inclusion, and digital empowerment across different age groups.
