Poland Youth Training Course
Youth Training Course in Gdańsk Successfully Completed
ISSF (Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future) participated as a project partner in the international Youth Training Course hosted by Coronat Foundation in Gdańsk, Poland. The training course brought together 24 youth workers from Italy, Bulgaria, and Türkiye, including 6 participants from ISSF_Antalya.
The programme focused on the use of educational board games as innovative tools for communication, teamwork, and non-formal learning. Throughout the course, participants explored how game-based approaches can support inclusion, cooperation, and social skills development, particularly when working with marginalised groups.
Learning Through Games and Practice
During the training, participants took part in workshops, hands-on gaming sessions, and group discussions aimed at understanding the educational and social impact of board games. The activities highlighted how playful learning methods can help build confidence, encourage collaboration, and strengthen community engagement.
AlegRamy Board Game Fair Experience
As part of the programme, participants attended the AlegRamy Board Game Fair in Gdańsk for two days. This experience allowed them to explore innovative board games, meet game designers, and observe how games can connect people across cultures and learning contexts.
Cultural Exchange and Intercultural Learning
Cultural exchange was an integral part of the training course. Participants presented their countries, traditions, and youth work practices, while Cultural Nights hosted by each national team created opportunities for intercultural dialogue through music, dance, and traditional food. These moments strengthened mutual understanding and group cohesion.
Outcomes and Reflections
The training course combined learning, creativity, and intercultural exchange in a dynamic environment. Participants returned with new competences, practical ideas for youth work, and strengthened international connections.
ISSF thanks Coronat Foundation for its hospitality and well-organised programme, as well as all partner organisations for their active participation and positive collaboration. While the training course has concluded, the learning outcomes and partnerships developed during this process will continue to support future youth work and educational initiatives.
